SasuSaku: I need to protect my family part Five

                                  -Morning-
The early morning sun slowly rose up as the light blue sky glowed with the sun’s rise, as it shined and cleared the darkness away as the new day makes its way through the well-rested village for the new day ahead of them waiting. The birds flew through the cloudless sky as they began to sing. A few villages began to open their small shops, mothers getting their children ready for the academy, or the men ready to go on their missions.  The early morning sun peeked into the master room of the famous known clan, the gently morning breeze washed through a few open windows that was left open to let the cool night air in from last night that is now to let the warm June morning air into the room.
“Hmm Sasuke… stop taking the blankets…”

Sasuke moved on his back as he took the back of his hand and rubbed his tired eyes, He looked over at Sakura thinking she was crazy, she took all the blankets. He smirked as he shook his head as he slowly sat up in the bed; he ran his hand through his messy bed head hair. His other hand gripped the sheets as the event last night played in his head. He felt so stupid for telling her all that… it was not her fault that the information was not reported right way or that himself should have destroyed Kabuto when he was right there in his hands. Sasuke took a deep breath and heard a cry from the baby monitor. He smile a little and shook his head.

“I go do it, blanket stealer” he joked with her as he heard a small tired giggle.

Sasuke stood up from the bed and pulled on his robe as he headed towards his son’s bedroom. Sakura lift her head up a little as she watched him walk out of their room. She smiled a little as she lay her head down again. She let out a small yawn as she checked the clock.
‘Well I should take a quick shower before Ino comes over…’ she thought as she quickly tossed the blankets off of her and walked over to her walk in closet, seeing what she could wear and went she  found  some clothes, she headed to the master bathroom to shower up before her friend came  over…

                                -To Sasuke-
Sasuke walked down the hall as he tied his robe up as the house was a little chilly this morning and then soon he walked into Daisuke’s room, he peeked through the crib bars, seeing Daisuke laying on his back moving his arms reaching his feet as he let out a couple of cries. Daisuke moved his head to the side to found his father standing there looking at him. Sasuke walked over to the crib and gently picked up his son. Daisuke looked at his father as small tears ran down his face. Sasuke lowered his son down as he took his index finger and wiped his son’s tears away.

“What’s wrong little man?” He kissed his cheek a little.

Daisuke fussed a little in his father’s arm as his arms moved side to side as his face turned red as he was about to cry. Sasuke shook his head as he gently laid Daisuke on his back in his arms and rubbed his tummy. Daisuke opened his mouth like he was surprised and then reached his small hand up and gripped his father’s index finger. Daisuke stretched a little as he held on his father’s fingers and moved his feet a little while Sasuke smiled softly at his son; Sasuke moved his index finger lightly side to side as Daisuke watched it. Sasuke let out a small laugh at his son’s reaction.

“You are so innocent… like your mother…but how can I get a second chance at life… to have your mother by my side…after all I did to her and this… village…”He whispered softly.

Daisuke looked up at him with his mother’s color eyes and moved his head to the side when he father told him that, like he understood what his father was saying. Sasuke shook his head at him.

“Well you won’t understand little man… maybe one day I will tell you…”
Sasuke looked away from his son for a minute as he felt a tug at his hair. He tensed up and mumbled ouch a few times as he looked at Daisuke, who was smiling at his father as small noises escaped his small toothless mouth.

“Ouch I-I think you are getting hungry...”

Sasuke gently took Daisuke’s hand away from his hair. Daisuke clapped his small hands together and then placed his hands in his mouth as small drool ran down his hands and mouth. Sasuke took the sleeve of his robe and wiped his son’s mouth and he stood up with Daisuke in his arms and brought him to the kitchen as Sasuke started to make Daisuke’s bottle…
                                     -To Sakura-
Sakura had a warm smile on her pale face as she walked out of the bathroom after her nice warm shower she just had as she walked out she wore Sasuke’s navy blue comfy pants and her red short sleeve shirt that had the Uchiha fan on the back. She put her long damp hair in a clip as her bare feet walked on the carpet. She made her way down the hall to the kitchen to make some tea for their guest when she saw Sasuke making Daisuke his breakfast.  Sakura walked behind them and smirked.

“Well, well look like Sasuke has the hang of things huh and you were worried that you wouldn’t be a good father.” She crossed her arms.

Daisuke wiggled in Sasuke’s arms as he heard his mother’s voice. Sasuke smirked at what he wife teased him about. When she told him that she was pregnant, he was scared that he won’t be a good father, it was a little fear of his…He turned to face her and gently handed her their son. Sakura wiggled her nose against her son’s nose once she got a hold of her little man, who loved when his mother did that and patted his mother’s cheeks a little as Sakura giggled at this, Sasuke walked over to his wife after he was done making the bottle, he kissed her on the cheek and then kissed Daisuke on the head.

“You want me to feed him or you?” he asked her.

       “You can since I got to get the tea ready for Ino since she is coming over to hang…”

She smiled at him as she gently handed Daisuke off, she kissed her son on the cheek. Sasuke gently took him and leaned him on his shoulder as he walked into the living room. Sakura walked over to the sink as she filled the tea kit with water… Sasuke sat down on the couch, as he leaned Daisuke in his arm. Sasuke gently ran the tip of the bottle over Daisuke’s mouth like Sakura showed him to do. Daisuke opened his mouth and quickly took the bottle. Sasuke smiled a little as he leaned his head back against the back of the couch as he closed his eyes…
                                  -An hour went by-
Sakura started to hum a lullaby as she started to set a small tray up with three cups and the tea kit on the tray with a few snack.  Sakura was cleaning up her mess so it would less for her to do.  Sakura smiled when she heard a knock at the door. She looked over her shoulder; she dried her hands and walked out of the kitchen.
“I got it Sasuke okay.” She called out.

“Okay… not like I was going to answer it.” He chuckled a little.

Sakura walked over to the door, she opened it up as a smile appeared on her face as the door was opened. She saw her little blond friend that they had a hell of a bumpy road but they still ended up patching up their past. Sakura opened her mouth but soon let out a scream when she was tackled to the ground.

“I missed you so much Sakura the hospital is so boring without you!” called out her best friend.

“I-Ino you are crushing me…”

“Oh right sorry I just missed you so much!”

Ino stood up while she helped Sakura up off the hardwood floor. Sakura took her best friend’s hand and leaped up onto her feet. She dusted herself off and hugged her friend.
“I missed you too Ino you know you can come over anytime right don’t be a stranger.”

Ino laughed a little as she hugged her back and nodded at what she offered to her. They finally pulled apart from each other and made their way to the kitchen. Ino sat down at the kitchen table once they reached the kitchen, while Sakura walked over with the tray. Sakura set the tray down as she poured some tea for Ino and soon walked to the sink as she cleaned out Daisuke’s bottle.

“So how is fatherhood treating you?” Ino asked Sasuke.

Sasuke stood up from the couch as he started to burp Daisuke. Daisuke nuzzled his head on his father’s robe as he loved the feel of the robe but he also tried to burp he let out a whine when he couldn’t. Sasuke sighed a little hated when his son had trouble burping as he walked over to the girls.
“It’s okay it gets little hard when I don’t know what this little man wants…”

“I will change him maybe that’s what he needs…”

Sasuke walked over to his wife, who had her arms out ready to take her little man. Daisuke clapped his hands again as Sakura walked to his room to go change him. As she walked down the hall she started to still a lullaby to her son.

“Hush now, my baby, be still love, don't cry Sleep like you're rocked by the stream Sleep and remember”

Sasuke sat down at the table with Ino as he closed his eyes listening to Sakura; he loved to hear her sing it relaxes him a little as he pour himself some tea. Sakura enter Daisuke’s room, she walked over to the changing table as she lay him down gently.  Sakura was undressing him as she played with his feet a little to try and keep him relaxed. Daisuke clapped his hands as he looked up at his mother; he opened his mouth and placed his hand in his mouth making noises.

“You are a silly boy huh.” She smiled at him.

After a few minute Sakura was done changing her little man and soon he finally let out a good burp and then let out a small yawn. Sakura lay him down in his crib, pulled a blanket over him half way and kissed his forehead as she headed out of Daisuke’s room quietly as she made her way down the hall to the kitchen to have a nice relaxing day. She smiled at the two as they were talking about the old times. Sakura wrapped her arms around her husband and rested her chin on his shoulder smiling at them as they talked.
                               -A few minutes-
The kitchen was lifted with laughs of jokes or good memories being shared or stories being told about how their life was going for them. Sakura took the plates as she went to put them in the sink when everyone was done with their snacks, but Sakura froze when she heard a noise that didn’t sit right with her. She also noticed Sasuke stood up fast with his sharingan active and Ino stood up also. Sakura felt a painful tug at her chest as she took off to her son’s room, Sasuke and Ino followed behind her as they didn’t like that feel that they felt. She quickly opened the door making her way in the room as she saw the window opened as the morning wind below in. She peeked over the crib to only see a mess blanket and soon let out a scream. She covered her mouth; Sasuke and Ino enter the room. Ino covered her mouth as a small gasped escaped her mouth as her friend was on her knees crying in her hands.
‘No…’ Ino thought

Sasuke ran over to the crib to find his son was not there, Sasuke turned to his wife and help her up onto her feet, he brought her into a tight hug hearing her cry out.
“Sasuke… h-he is gone… he took him…”

Sasuke gripped his wife’s shirt and looked towards Ino with fire in his eyes. Ino jumped a little at how angry Sasuke was, but she couldn’t blame him for being angry.

“Go tell the Hokage that the bustard has attacked… now!” he yelled.

Ino nodded and soon disappeared with the wind, while Sakura gripped tight to Sasuke as she cried her heart out, Sasuke leaned his head on her head as he whispered to her.

“Don’t worry, I will get our son back and I will make sure he will pay you hear me…”
